Whales, whales, whales. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. From the moment we boarded the boat, it was majestic ! Our captain was amazing. He took to various spots where we saw two humpback whales, a cow and a calf, feeding near the shore. We also saw Sea Otters . Great day!

We booked this off the ship! Great tour. This tour only held 6 people plus the captain. We saw whales, otters and sea lions! Fully recommend

Here’s the deal. The cruise ship terminal is 15 minutes away from downtown Sitka. This company does not pick you up for the excursion. You will need to take a bus to downtown. Your cruise company will issue out tickets which means logistics are a nightmare and you’re not going to make this trip. The company will not help you or refund your money. We have no control over the bus ticket times and we’re not told this until the afternoon prior. We had no cell service and couldn’t get a hold of the confirmation until this morning. Never in our 20 years of traveling with excursions outside of cruises have we encountered this situation where the company won’t work with us.

Hi, I’m sorry to hear about your experience. I checked into this and it appears you booked 2 seats on our exclusive boat trip that holds just 6 passengers total. Your booking was made back in early May through Viator. I’m showing you reached out to us on the morning of your tour, only about 1 hour before the scheduled departure time, to say you were arriving on a ship that would not make this time and that you hadn’t read the instructions that state you will need to take a shuttle to our meeting area. Had the ship been late we would have certainly accounted for that and made it right. Or had you given us a few days notice we could have easily resold your seats and offered you a full refund. However, our records indicate that your ship Did arrive exactly on time as scheduled. And you never reached out to us to say you had booked for the wrong time, until it was too late to fill your spots.
