Spendy but worth it. Traveled with 14, 17 and 18 yr olds. They loved it! Not recommended for young children; too long of a day. Day started out with a 515am pick up from our hotel in the South Rim to the airport. Airport clean, well organized and in tip top shape. Pilots super professional. Beautiful scenic East Rim flyover to Page watching the sun rise. Pick up from the airport to the Navajo Nation was in open air trucks...bring scarves and eye protection as it is super dusty (and COLD!!! Our trip was in mid-October). Our Navajo guide Dee was amazing, knew all the nooks and crannies if the Canyon as well as all the proper camera techniques to get the best shots. Then on to the rafting trip down the Colorado with the starting point at the Glen Canyon Dam @ Lake Powell. Had to go thru security as the Dam is part of Homeland Security. The rafting trip is pretty long (3+ hrs) have to admit was getting pretty antsy by the end...but BEYOND beautiful: saw petroglyphs, wild horses and big horn sheep. Lunch was a Subway bag (turkey sandwich loaded w veggies, chips, fruit and a kind bar). Picked up at the end of the rafting trip by a clean modern bus that did a midway pitstop at the trading post in Cameron. All guides were professional, knowledgeable and passionate about the area. Coordination between legs of the trip involved some waiting but overall seemless. If you only have one day to see Northern AZ/Glen Canyon this is the way to do it!
