The Downtown Las Vegas Arts District has quickly become one of the most happening neighborhoods in the country. Completely removed from The Strip and the casinos, the area is a favorite with locals. Check out the scene: art galleries featuring local artists; alleys full of vivid street art; vintage shops; clothing stores; colorful bars; affordable dining & more. We will walk down Main St., also called Brewery Row as more than a half dozen microbreweries have opened in the past few years, and enjoy a couple drinks on us!!

The Arts Factory

We meet behind the World Famous Arts Factory on Charleston and Casino Center Blvd, by the pink wall on the Boulder Ave rear side of the building. This is a key landmark in the Arts District and the site of the monthly First Friday Street Fair. The tour returns to this location at its end and we visit a local gallery inside.

Of all tours we've taken, this one was just boring. The trip consisted of us following a guide who spent the majority of the time asking locals to come see his band. He wasn't really knowledgeable at all of the area, stating that he'd only been in Las Vegas for five years. He didn't names of artists who painted many of the murals we saw. Instead his stories were more along the lines of "I knew a guy who worked there" or "I knew the people that used to own that". Nothing of real substance. We did step into a couple of art galleries, but I did not feel that our guide, nor we, were really welcome there. It was a slow and uninteresting experience which I would not recommend.

Hi Michael, I’m very apologetic that our tour did not meet your expectations. This particular guide that you had on the tour is no longer working for us and we have recently restructured the tour to showcase many more local galleries as well as including stops at 3 of the local breweries where the guests will have a choice of beer. This tour has been designed to bolster local businesses and community in a city that mostly focuses on corporate hotel and casino tourism. The Arts District is a great local neighborhood and a different slice of life in Las Vegas. I would love the opportunity to talk about how we can make this right for you. Terbo Ted was so knowledgeable about the arts scene in vegas and was super flexible since it was just two of us on the tour that day. We had a wonderful time!
