This tour of Atlanta was one of the best guided tours we have ever taken. The Guide which I believe is a owner of the tour company was so full of information, that he was talking to us most of the 5 hour tour. There was a separate driver, which allowed our guide more time to concentrate on informing the people in the tour. At the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. National Park we had lots of time to learn about the man and his positive influence on the integration process. The National Park has guides who could answer individual's questions. But, our guide had some details that the Park guide didn't. Our guide had extensive knowledge on any subject about Atlanta and it's history. The guide had to spend a lot of time continually digging into details that he knew people would like to hear about during his tours. We got out of the bus 3 times, as I remember. They were at the Martin Luther King Jr. National Park, CNN building for lunch and for a walking tour on a paved path through a renewed part of Atlanta. On this walk the guide filled us in on more about Atlanta, it's history and it's people. To reiterate, this was one of the best guided tours we've ever had.
