We went on this tour expecting to learn about the history of Atlanta. We spent 1.5 hrs at the MLK museum. That was interesting. After that things went downhill. The bus traveled too quickly to see any sights that might have been pointed out. Truthfully, there were not many sights that were worth pointing out. We heard a lot about the guides daughters and how they rode bikes in neighborhoods (we did see a lot of neighborhoods). He pointed out names of stores and bars. We saw where he and his mom and kids went to school. We saw the hospital that his mom was born in. The second stop was 30 minutes. We walked on a bike path while the tour guide read graffiti that people painted. We then stopped at CNN at 12 - a very busy time. We were told to eat and be back on the bus in 30 minutes. Almost impossible. The only part of CNN that we saw was the food court. Then it was back on the bus to drive through expensive neighborhoods. Unless you care about where the owner of Orkin Pest Control or Wed MD live, this is boring. Saying we saw Margaret Mitchell's house was laughable. We were speeding by and the tour guide mentioned it. I was unable to see it. Unless you like riding through meaningless neighborhoods, then this tour is not for you. It is definitely not for children. My 2 kids were bored completely. It would have been nicer to see some historical sights like Centennial Park, the Jimmy Carter museum (which he said we might see - but at that point in the tour I knew it wasn't going to happen). I think we drove by (fast) some places which were battlefields - but you were unable to see anything - they were not visible from the road. With all of the history in Atlanta, this tour was very disappointing. Don't waste your money. If you love Architectural Digest, this tour is for you. Otherwise, spend your money elsewhere.
