A food tour is a great way to start a visit to a new town. You can try iconic food (brisket! breakfast taco!), get a leisurely overview of the city, and seek things-to-do suggestions from other folks on the tour. Our guide Zach took us to some yummy places and made lots of recommendations for other places in town for both food and entertainment. We did have a flight of steps to go up (and back down) at one restaurant and a long sloped walk down to Fareground. Our 1pm tour ended in time for happy hour at the Fareground bar.

6 stops , 1 was smoothie, 1 was dessert. Everything was good. AJ was quite knowledgeable about the area and stories about the different restaurants.

AJ was very personable, knowledgeable and kept everyone engaged throughout the tour. The restaurants we visited had wonderful food and we were given a history of each proprietor. I would highly recommend this tour.
