Our family was looking for a fun activity to do while visiting the Inner Harbor. When I looked up Harbor Sails, it was between this one on the summer wind and one of the "big boat" harbor cruises. When I made the comparison, the choice was obvious...yes, the price was twice as much as "the big boat" but also twice as long! AND WE WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE ON THE BOAT! Yep, 6 person max, and that's what we were. The choice was a no-brainer and we are glad we made it!
It isn't always easy to plan activities when "the kids" are 25, 24, 19, and 5, but this choice made everyone happy! We took a cooler for the "grown ups" but "the Toms" (Captain and first mate both named tom) had a cooler on board with water, soda, and gatorade as well. We got to see the inner harbor and the workings of a sailboat. The Toms were happy to answer all our questions, and were super low key at the same time. It was a hot midday sail, but we were able to change sides of the boat to stay cool. A life jacket was provided for the 5 year old, and adult size jackets were available for the rest of us if we wanted.
All in all, a fabulous time! You won't regret making this choice!
