I booked this for my wife’s birthday, booked it online from England before we went to New York, I purchased a suit for the occasion, and my wife purchased a new dress, we was so looking forward to this. By the way my wife as had two knee operation’s on both knees, and is still in a lot of pain after 3 years of operation and is now classed as disabled. Any way the night came of the cruise, we got ready and booked a taxi for just before 18.00 giving us just over an hour to get there and get in board, our hotel was only 9 miles away, so thought that’s plenty of time, any way to cut a long story short we got to the pier at 18.55 because of traffic, the taxi driver wasn’t sure where we need to be, he dropped us quit a way from where we need to be, and with my wife being disabled, we got to the place where the cruise was moored at 19.05 and it had gone, now surely they had a list of who was getting on board that night, and you would of thought, ok just give 10 minutes, but no it had gone, to say we was devastated is an understatement, I got intouch with them to explain and ask for a refund. And they blankly said no, very very upsetting.
