Aurora Camp is located on a hilltop near Murphy Dome, a top Northern Lights viewing spot near Fairbanks, favored by Aurora photographers. The cabin sits in an area with wide-open views, free from light pollution or any obstructions, offering a full panoramic view of the Northern Lights. Relax in a cozy Alaskan-style cabin with six large windows providing over 180° of stunning views while enjoying hot chocolate in comfort.

* 1,500 sq ft new cabin, built in summer 2023
* Free portrait photography
* Indoor restroom
* Unlimited hot chocolate, coffee, tea, snacks, board games, etc.

Tour Options:
* With transfer (pickup and drop-off): Available from all Fairbanks and North Pole hotels, Airbnbs, etc.
* No transfer: Drive your rental car to the cabin. The roads are well-maintained and in good condition.

We had a great experience! Our first night we were unlucky and unable to see the lights, but were able to come back the next night and saw a beautiful sky with the northern lights! Our hosts had a warm cabin with food, drinks, games, karaoke, and a real bathroom. I would recommend the tour to anyone-everything was easy, from the hotel pickup to a cozy place to wait for the lights to appear. Definitely would do this again if we return to Fairbanks

Good location and easy to drive to. About 35 minutes from Fairbanks. New building and really nice. The guide even cook some lamb for us. He is very knowledgeable of the northern lights. It’s a great night to see the lights and stay most time Indoor.

The owner/driver is super helpful. It was our first day at Fairbanks and he provided a lot of insights for our trip. The place is exceptionally clean and equipped with a lot of food, board games and karaoke along with hot chocolate and coffee. Moreover the owner even made B.B.Q. skewers specifically for us. The owner was a professional Aurora chaser and photographer. He took many amazing pictures of us with the Aurora. The overall experience is superb. Highly recommended.
