This was one of the best tours I went on during my vacation (my friend and I went on 5 walking tours while we were in Salem!) Sarah was our tour guide - she was very knowledgeable and personable. I highly recommend this tour!

Went on the afternoon walking tour with Jobi in July 2023. We met up and started right away with introductions so that everyone felt part of the group. Throughout the tour, Jobi wove the frightening history of the events surrounding the with events with larger context - who had to pay fines, who received the money, who was related to the King or Sheriff or judges. The larger context really showed how the religious zealots were able to perpetrate such an horribly awesome crime on the accused. There were 2 fairly young children with us and the guide was careful to use humor, a game, and some dramatic flair to be sure that they were ok with the information and also feel included - as some of the political and economic info was likely over their heads. Last notes - we also heard side info unrelated to the witch trials that made the town more interesting on the way from site to site. And Jobi was constantly cognizant that we had shade to stand in while listening, and that we were aware of traffic and other pedestrians in sharing the spaces. The guide was superb and I highly recommend this tour!
