The office staff were very helpful each time I contacted them by phone. Andrew our guide worked very hard to keep us safe. The things that made me rate the company average was location and condition of equipment. You must park behind the building in a gravel lot. To get there, there is very uneven roadway and you must drive carefully to avoid holes. The jackets were smelly and the helmets seemed very worn. The raft we were on was patched, but had no problem staying afloat.
According to Andrew the water level was low, I guess that was why this seemed more like float than white water rafting. Good experience for people who want to enjoy the surroundings. This was mostly train tracks with abandon RR cars on one side and road traffic on the other.
I have White water rafted on the New River in West Virginia and maybe that is why this was disappointing. We were in nature the entire trip. For young families and people who have a fear of rafting this might be a good choice.I know this company was cheaper than the others, if that helps you make a decision.
