Step back in time with a 4.5-hour visit to one of America's oldest working, living plantations. Be transported to this historic site with an experienced driver on a comfortable, air conditioned mini bus. Boone Hall Plantation has been recognized as the #1 Plantation in the Charleston area, according to USA TODAY. Tour includes round-trip transportation from the Visitors Center in Charleston, all entrance fees, a guided house tour, Gullah Theater (in season), self guided garden and grounds tour, and a tram tour (based on availability). Small-group tour is limited to a maximum of 25 people.

Very interesting and informative tour. Driver was very helpful and did a great narrative on the drive out. Several demonstrations and native talks.

While our destination was the Boone Hall Plantation, our "trip" started from the moment Bill arrived to pick us up. True front door gentleman and arrived on time (e.g. 5 minutes early). He really knew his city and beamed with pride at the different aspects of it's storied past. He gave us much more than just a lift to the plantation, he also provided us with a wonderful oral history of the various places we passed en route to the plantation. The plantation tours were also wonderful. Truly an amazing Gullah presentation as well as house tours and grounds tours (thanks Bill, a different bill)

We took this tour on 3/8/2028 and had a wonderful guide. I cannot remember her name but she was fantastic. If you want to tour a plantation this one is beautiful. Make sure you take the plantation tour Tom the guide was outstanding.
