Be transported to this historic site with an experienced driver on a comfortable, air conditioned mini bus. Boone Hall Plantation has been recognized as the #1 Plantation in the Charleston area, according to USA TODAY. Tour includes round-trip transportation from the Visitors Center in Charleston, all entrance fees, a guided house tour, Gullah Theater (in season), self guided garden and grounds tour, and a tram tour (based on availability). Small-group tour is limited to a maximum of 25 people.

This was not representative of a plantation. This was the single worse experience we had while visiting Charleston. Do not visit this site if you are hoping to learn about life on a plantation.

Great experience. Driver was very knowledgeable gave us lots of information on the drive out. The time allowed at the location was perfect amount of time. Great location to pick up tour in downtown Charleston. Highly recommend for anyone who is staying in historic Charleston without a car. Boone Hall is a beautiful location, even our teenage kids enjoyed it.

It was a great tour. The mansion tour was excellent as were the presentations at the slave homes. It will be even better when the cotton gin exhibit is completed in the near future.
