We have done similiar tours in other cities which were better done. This trip did not live to brochure hype.

We initially booked a tour for 6pm but we received a text at 4pm saying that if you didn’t check in 30 mins that “Late check-in may result in forfeited seat and missed tour times are non-refundable” The information on trip advisor said 20 mins, I know this is small, but I feel like it was a bit off putting prior to the tour starting. Everyone seemed to follow the directions from the text so it could have just been a “me” thing. The text also said, Half of the tour is walking outside in graveyards. I feel like the description of the tour could have been more accurate, there were people on the tour that you could tell didn’t expect to walk as much as they did. It also is very dark, the tour guide did have a flashlight but I think either offering them or having another person with a flashlight would have been nice. I also had a really hard time hearing and understanding the tour guide once we were at the sights. On the bus they had a microphone so it was better. The tour guide was nice and funny but I was looking for even more stories. My husband really enjoyed it and I thought it was okay. 3 stars for logistics and description but everything else was fine, all and all a solid tour and a different activity for a night out in Boston!

Our guide was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, easy to understand, and told lots of fun, corny jokes. It would have been good to know up front that we would get off the bus and walk around, also an estimate of the amount of walking involved.
