The trolley was comfortable and the tour guides were entertaining and well informed about the sights of the city. We had been planning on taking the entire tour loop around once to determine the stops at which we wanted to hop off for the GPS-guided walking tours on the second pass around. However, we were informed when we joined the tour at the first stop that the pass was not unlimited; it was good for one loop of the tour only. Boston is so large and spread out, this limitation did not lend itself well to what we had in mind. Hop-on/hop-off tours we'd taken in other cities with other vendors were unlimited. The GPS-guided walking tours were a nice add-on feature, but we only accessed a few since we hadn't had time to review in advance while on the trolley.

Slightly worried about some of the negative reviews, which I only saw once we’d booked. I booked online, but ticket collection was easy, right by the main departure point. We had a rainy day, so that may be why the bus was not busy. We had intended to get off during the circuit, but Jack’s commentary was so interesting and amusing, we stayed with him. Excellent, despite some rude passengers trying to talk over him. Really enjoyed ourselves - thanks, Jack!

We had a great time on the hop on and off trolley! Hugo was a great tour guide! Would definitely recommend this service for getting around Boston.
