We did this tour yesterday and it was excellent. Our tour guide, Conor, was knowledgeable, friendly and was genuinely engaging whenever we had things to say or chat about. There's was only 5 of us on the tour, a group of 3 ladies and then my husband and myself so it was fairly intimate and we all got along great and spent the afternoon chatting. We even stayed and had another drink with them after the tour finished. We asked what the maximum number of people was and he said 12 but smaller groups tended to be more enjoyable.
There wasn't as much walking as I had anticipated but we were grateful of that as it was scorching out and the stops inside were a welcome respite. Conor had lots of interesting facts about the history of Boston, the build up to the revolution and the architecture of the area and it was all very interesting. He and the 3 ladies were all interested to hear our perspectives as Brits as to what we learn about the subject and we had some great conversations. The drinks were all great and we were all eager to try all the local and unique beers and ciders that Conor recommended.
All in all it was a really fun few hours and we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the city.
