Enjoy a spectacular day in the White Mountains of New Hampshire viewing the magnificent fall foliage. Your day will begin with front door hotel pick up service and be brought 2.5 hours north to White Mountains New Hampshire. From here, we will travel through the world renowned Kancamagus Highway. You'll enjoy several stops along this route for pictures and learn mountain history. You'll enjoy a stop in the mountain town of North Conway for lunch and shopping. After lunch we will depart and take a scenic tour on route 302 to for pictures of Mountain Washington in the background then continue on the tour to view where Old Man on the Mountain was perched. Finally returning to Boston and direct hotel drop-off.

My trip with Matt from Boston along the Kancamagus Hiighway to see the leaves in New Hampshire was so delightful that it made up for the fact that we were a little past peak color season. He's a seasoned hiker and rock-and-ice climber, with an obvious passion for and knowledge about the White Mountains. He chose destinations for some short walk-abouts that we never could have found on our own - thrilling gorges and pristine lakes. Because I was the oldest member of the group (there were 7 of us in a comfortable van that could easily have held five more), Matt unobtrusively looked out for me. He even went out of his way to pick me up and drop me off at my center-city residence. Matt's narrative was always informational and interesting. On the way home, he was generous with suggestions about Boston for the visiting folks, and he gently steered the conversation away from the controversial subjects that one of the guests brought up. He is truly a masterful and unusual guide. Remove review

The waterfalls, gorges and Mount Washington hotel are amazing sites and im so happy you got a chance to explore them with me. Not only do I like sharing the mountains with guest from out of the region, but locals as well. Right here in our backyard do we have these wonderful mountains people barely know anything about. We were picked up on time from our hotel in an almost new 14 seat bus. The driver gave us a knowledgeable commentary along the way. The leaves turned more as we headed north and the knowledge of the driver showed as he knew the best places to see. In North Conway he recommended the Stairway Café was excellent (see separate review). It was quite a long day but worth it.

My husband, daughter and I took the Fall Foliage Tour in New Hampshire on Saturday 10/13/18. Our day started out in Boston. Matt our tour guide/driver came and picked us up at our hotel The Westin Waterfront. After a few more pickups off we went to New Hampshire. The weather was a little dreary, but cleared up towards the end of the day. Matt took us on an enjoyable tour of the state of NH. The scenery was beautiful. Being born and raised in Texas, I had never heard of the White Mountain National Forest 🌳 or Kancamagus Highways? Matt did a wonderful job showing us his beautiful state. We stopped in North Conway. This was a cute little town. Had time for lunch and shopping. We then made our way to Mount Washington Resort. The grounds were beautiful and breathtaking. We made our way back to Boston and arrived back at about 6p.m. Thanks Matt!! You are truly a kind and compassionate young man and it was a pleasure spending the day with you!!! Best of luck....
