My husband and I had the privilege to have a private river tour with Captain Nate! His knowledge of EVERYTHING was amazing!! We learned so much! Conversations flowed from fish to caves to property prices to complete bourbon history and beyond! If you are visiting Frankfort put this on your list! Thanks Captain Nate! We will definitely book again when we are back! All the best in your upcoming years of your business!

I recently took the KY River Bourbon River Tour. Such a nice way to learn a little bit about bourbon and local area history. Captain Nathan was informative and a great tour guide. I highly recommend this tour. A nice way to spend an afternoon.

So happy I found this trip on TripAdvisor! It was the perfect compliment to our tour at Buffalo Trace Distilleries. I was so impressed with the friendliness and knowledge of both Allison and Nathan and how easy this trip was. Allison picked us up in a bus just outside of the Buffalo Trace visitors center and took us to the boat dock just a few minutes away. Captain Nathan helped us aboard the comfortable boat and proceeded to give us a very informative tour down a section of the Kentucky River. I learned so much and had a better appreciation for the rivers importance as a drinking supply and as a main ingredient for bourbon. Along the way Nathan gave us the choice of a cold Ale8 (ginger ale) or spring water, and a famous Bourbon Ball. After the tour Allison drove us back to Buffalo Trace and was happy to make addition suggestions for us to visit. My husband, 2 college boys, and myself all felt this trip was a highlight of our day and appreciated the care both Allison and Nathan provided.
