Zim grabs your attention and keeps you motivated and challenged for the entire session. She gives 'assignments' to get you working. Regardless of your level of skill, she will give you tips and tools of the trade and the best advice ever for your taking your next photo up a notch in quality and beauty. Highly recommend a phot safari with Zim!

This was my 6th NY Photo Safari. This time I did the Brooklyn Bridge safari. Most of the photo safaris would be suitable for all levels of photography including cell phones and in fact on all but 2 of the safaris I've done, we have had all assorted types of cameras. Instructor Zim is great. She will give you an "assignment" ie. shoot this particular scene and then tell you how to improve upon what you shot. She will explain why something works or why it does not and spreads herself among all the participants to view everyone's photos for personal critique. The emphasis is on composition to allow the trips to be accessible to to all levels of photography. You will come away with a better understanding of how to improve your photos; concepts to think about that can be applied to any photos you take going forward. I took a bus from Albany to NewYorkCity just for this tour on July 1st and i feel it is worth the time and travel. I want to thank Zim because she answered all of my questions. She asked me what i wanted to learn today. i thought she asked me that question as a conversation starter or an ice breaker but by the end of the tour i realized she made sure i learned something new in what i intended to learn.She helped me add a new perspective of how to look at things. Thank you Zim. i wished the session lasted little longer because i was having fun learning.
