Workshop Information: This unique hands-on workshop allows participants to create their own graffiti art project with the help of an authentic NYC graffiti artist. Learn the tips and techniques of aerosol art from fill-ins to masterpieces as you immerse yourself in the graffiti art culture. The workshop takes place in our beautiful Brooklyn art studio in the heart of Bushwick Brooklyn. Cultivating creative thought and a welcoming environment, this experience is designed for all ages and talent levels. You're group works on one large canvas, so understand that everyone doesn't walk out with their own piece of art. Also, it seems obvious, but it takes time to dry when done. Ours wasn't totally dry for several hours after, so make sure you plan on heading home afterward. Even with those caveats, this was by far the highlight of my family's visit to NYC. A real street artist guides you along with just enough help to make the end result look awesome. You'll end up with about a 5x4 foot canvas that can be rolled up when dry. Really unique fun experience.

Time well spent. Got a great lesson on Graffiti from a real Graffiti artist. Enjoyed looking at and understanding art in the community. But the real fun was creating our own art with spray cans... understanding the techniques, and watching our masterpiece completed. GreAt for vacation and for a cool date.
