I cannot say enough good things about our Brooklyn Neighborhoods Bike Tour as it more than exceeded our expectations. John is a skilled tour operator/guide with a vast breadth and depth of Brooklyn, past, present, and future. Although he has tremendous knowledge of the various areas, he is very conscious not to hijack the tour with information overload. He manages to balance the experience quite expertly. Furthermore, he consistently takes a pulse of his audience to make sure everyone is comfortable and enjoying their experience. I texted John a few days in advance as I had a few questions. He was quick to return my call and answer all of my questions. Also, he was able to recommend quite a few varied dining options in close proximity. The bikes were in excellent condition and easy to operate. He provided helmets which he assured us were recently sanitized. The car traffic on Saturday was minimal and all of the routes were very bike friendly. I would recommend plenty of sunscreen and some water to stay hydrated (each bike appeared to have a water bottle holder). This tour is for all fitness levels as the terrain is predominantly flat and there are plenty of stops for talking points. We definitely plan on partaking in some of John's other tours and learning about other parts of Brooklyn and Manhattan.

My husband and I had a great time on our private bike tour of Brooklyn with John, who was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We are native New Yorkers who were looking for a Covid-friendly fun activity. I’m so happy we decided to do something out of the box. We learned so many new things we didn’t even know about our own city, got some fresh air and exercise on a beautiful day.
