For many years Wilderness Aware has outfitted and guided the annual 7th grade class trip. I've worked with several other raft companies along the Arkansas River and WA has consistently been the best!! Professional! The quintessential "risk managers", always demonstrating the highest regard for safety. Did I mention technically rock solid and FUN!? Every May students look forward to our rafting adventure through Browns Canyon!

This is the second time we’ve used this company: first-rate service and experience! The water was high snd fast, and Justin our guide (and Lucas our trailblazer) knew exactly how to handle it! Snacks after! Absolutely a BLAST!

Our family did the half day Browns Canyon float. We were very nervous because we had very little experience, and during the safety talk it was advised that this was not a simple "booze cruise" float down the river. Once we got on the river and practiced rowing and following the guide's commands, we felt more comfortable. When we got to the rapids, oh my gosh it was awesome!!! The river was really running (class 4 rapids), and we had some near tumbles, but we all made it down the river safely. It was a thrilling adventure for all of us! Highly recommend this tour.
