Car parking was more expensive than Disney and there was a long queue for transport to the entrance so we walked. There were extra charges for a number of rides including Sky Ride which we chose not to do. The biggest disappointment was Queuing for 1 1/2 hours for the Congo River Rapids before getting into a raft and then being told to get out again because a storm was approaching. We had been told the wait would be 45 minutes. The staff did not appear to be monitoring the users of the lightning lane which was why it took so long. We went to complain about our experience at the park but the queue was so long we gave up and left very disappointed. Nowhere near as good as Disney.

Well as much as i like Busch Gardens unfortunately this year several rides were not running throughout my entire stay. I visited twice and the queues were short and I had ample opportunity to go on the variety of rides which were working However the new rides which were advertised only one was functional. The entire time the new swing ride was down and that was one of the main draws for me so i am bitterly disappointed This is one of the only parks where the seats are narrow and do not accommodate anyone with larger hips never mind chest size. So if you are bigger its best to avoid this park altogether. The park itself is very nice, but signage left a fair amount to be desired, with signposts pointing in wrong directions, misleading and often causing you to have to backtrack on yourself. Animal parts were good, the train ride was enjoyable and quite cute with a great commentary. Waiting times were ok. Connection to get the bus was not the most easily signposted and made for a bit of difficulty finding it on I-drive and there are no restrooms nearby so go before you get the bus. The drive on the bus to the park is very tiring. It adds 4 hours to your day. So bear that in mind.

Absolute waste of time and money. Arrived at 10:15 general parking lot. Tram not working had to walk to entrance. If you can't walk very well don't do it. No help from staff. There were 4 workers just standing around at Tram pickup that wasn't operating. Get into park after 15 min walk to gate. Once inside at 10:30 no restaurants open so no food. Walked around for 1/2hr trying to find food nothing open. Tried to take train and it was out of service. Tried to go on rapids ride not operating and still no open restaurant food. No adult rides other than one coaster was open That we saw. After walking around tired hot and hungry finally asked a blue shirt is there actually anything to do at this park. He seemed confused and said something about a train to ride. So went looking for train to ride. That was not running. I have to say it was a total waste of money for tickets, cost of parking, cost of fuel to drive there and a total waste of a day. Both of us finally said enough and left the park disappointed and feeling that I just got ripped off for $200.00 plus my 3hr drive time. Shame on them for taking money and not providing a decent experience. The only thing we saw was a flock of pink flamingos and 2 birds inside a large encloser. That was it. Lockers for loose articles if you wanted to go on a ride if you actually found one that was operating was $15.00. Won't be back..
