This was our last adventure on our week long vacation in Colorado. The guides were enthusiastic and comical, but also insured our safety. My husband is terrified of heights and he enjoyed ziplining because the the guides took great care in helping us learn the ropes and made us feel safe. Preston and Gabe were the best part! They encouraged us to have fun, see the scenery and gave us some great geological and historical information along the way! They even recommended great food and drinks at a local dive in Salida! The only thing I would have changed is taking our zipline tour earlier in the day so that we could have walked around the shops in town after eating. There were tons of things to see downtown in Salida for those who are out of towners! The guides make this tour worth the time and the money! Thank you guys for making our last evening in Colorado unforgettable!

I called Captain zipline to have 5 members of my family to zipline 2 hours before we wanted to go there. I did not register online but was charged an online fee and a registration fee. It was already $79 per person. For that price you get only 6 short ziplines that take approximately 20 seconds to go across. We were put in a large group of 14 people so it did take the 2 and 1/2 hours because there was a lot of waiting. The 2 guides were great however. So glad for that. Just wanted to let you know what you are getting for your money.

Thanks for the feedback, but some explanation is in order...we thought we went over board for these folks. We charged them the online advance reservation fee price of $79 instead of the $89 walk in fee to save them some money for their large family. We explained that there was a credit card fee and a reservation fee (we have a large monthly fee for the reservation system). We sent them to the best restaurant in Salida for a free drink with their entree afterwards. And they agreed that the guides were great... Our trips take 2.5 hours and it is not just about the zip lines...we share all sorts of natural history, mining stories, geology facts, and we have many "points of interest" along the tour. Most folks leave with an appreciation of the "Colorado Experience" and they talk about the things they learned and how safe they felt more than the zip lines thrills. Our trip was large at 14 persons because we increased it to accommodate this family on short notice! I guess we can't please everyone all the time! We hope the other guests who had to wait longer than normal because we took this family were OK with it. Our cables get longer and faster as everyone gains confidence. Our longest is over 700 feet long and takes off from a 200 ft high cliff and goes over some awesome ancient lime kiln ruins. Come try us out and see for yourself what you get for the money! The lifetime memories are included!

This was my first time ziplining and I was more than a little apprehensive. Gage and Ryan were so knowledgeable and personable, making the experience that much more fun! They made sure our group understood the basics before we started our adventure. I would highly recommend Captain Zipline! It was an awesome experience and I can't wait to do it again!
