Michael gives a very thorough and detailed tour of the plants, trees, statues, features, and history of Central Park. He was very entertaining, and it was obvious that he has done some extensive homework on the background and details of the Park and surrounding area. We could have walked the park by ourselves, but we got so much more out of it by touring with Michael. I was so glad that Michael was available on the only afternoon that fit into our schedule while we were in NYC. I highly recommend booking a tour with Michael instead of going on your own.

Our foursome met Michael at 10am on Saturday. He had texted prior to confirm and then called about 15 mins before tour time to check on our expected arrival. He took the worry out of buying on line by personalizing it. Michael was entertaining and enthusiastic from the start till the finish. He clearly knew the history and nature of the park and how it came to be and an understanding of why the Central Park of today is not the Central Park of the 70’s. The was ample opportunity to both rest and drink as well as plenty of bathroom breaks if needed. If you have interest in walking for 2-3 hours (we ran over by an hour!) all across the lower parts of this beautiful area of NYC an learn as you go, Choose Michael. You wont be disappointed! Oh. Michael took pictures along the way and emailed them to us at no charge. Very Very thoughtful. Definitely a bargain.

Our Central Park walking tour guide, Michael Hunt was informative as well as entertaining. He was passionate about the park and engaged us in conversation welcoming all our questions. He pointed out all the historic locations while allowing time to stop and admire the scenic spots. We were lucky to have such a knowledgeable guide since we both love history and he was able to point out many hidden features. Looking forward to another tour!!
