Trying to navigate ones way through Central Park is certainly no walk in the park - so we decided to book a Walking Tour. I cannot praise our tour guide Michael Hunt highly enough . He was so knowledgeable , witty , knew all the little facts about the park and threw in his knowledge of the flora too - our Central Park experience was just perfect . Michael even took great pictures of us on his iPad and emailed it to us . Coming from a city like London which has more than its share of lovely parks - we were surprisingly bowled over by the beautiful oasis that is Central Park amidst the concrete jungle . I would strongly recommend anyone going for the first time to go with Michael on the Central Park Walking Tour.

Micheal is a fantastic tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable about the history of the park and adds humor with stories. As a local, I walk through the park multiples times a week and never noticed let alone knew the significance of so many landmarks. Thank you Micheal for helping me appreciate my home even more. Whether you are visiting or you live in NYC, I highly recommend this tour, you will feel comfortable, learn a lot and enjoy the beauty of this amazing park.

All along the way, Michael tailored our route based on the areas and facts that we found the most interesting (and he was clearly knowledgable about every aspect of the park's history, geography, architecture, wildlife, culture, and anything else you could imagine). He even knew all the most beautiful spots to take photos of us! A few hours before our tour, Michael texted us to confirm the meeting location and even asked us if we would like to adjust our start time to avoid the forecasted rain! Afterwards, we had a quick transition to our next activity and he was able to end the tour in a convenient spot and give us exact directions. You won't find a more accommodating, personable, and qualified guide. Looking forward to taking his other tours!
