The Sunday Champagne Brunch Cruise was a lot of fun, providing good food, excellent service, and great views around the harbor. My family has been on a few different meal cruises and I have to say we believed this was the best one we've been on and definitely a notch above the competition. The ship, although smaller than some others is very nice, clean, and updated. The food on the ship offered made to order omelet bar, carving station, ceviche and shrimp cocktails, as well as your typical brunch fare. The food was quite good and the waiter for our group of 14 was excellent, making sure mimosas were constantly full, even when we were on the upper view deck. The great thing was that they allowed us to get our food and eat before the cruise left port, thereby allowing us a lot of time on the upper view deck. The cruise starts out headed west towards Shelter Island then turns towards the sub base at Point Loma, turning around close to the Cabrillo National Monument. The ship then sailed past Naval Air Station North Island, underneath the Coronado bridge and along San Diego Naval Base, where over twenty great USN ships were docked. Although there are 3 hour meters around the Embarcadero, probably the easiest place to park is the Navy Pier, which is located next to the USS Midway, just a short walk over to the Flagship docks.
