The experience will leave you falling in love with this breathtaking city just as so many have before you.  Boarding adjacent to Market Street, you will start in our stable where you can visit with our horses and then ride along in one of our modern custom carriages to see the sights of Charleston in style. Designed to be lighter and more comfortable than others in town, our garnet and black 16-passenger carriages enable our stunning draft horses to enjoy the tour as much as you will!

After a bit of a group-caused hiccup, we made our way into the carriage after watching the staff cool down then remove from rotation for the day a horse whose temperature was slightly elevated, our tour was underway. Michael O was immediately engaging and friendly while also being very professional. Buddy was the perfect gentleman, with nary a head toss in sight. Care of the beautiful Belgian draft horse was top of mind, and Buddy has the appearance and demeanor of a well cared for, well nourished equine. Charleston is one of our favorite cities to visit but this was the first time we’d been on a carriage tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed our carriage tour. Our guide, Michael, was knowledgable, entertaining, and a great story teller. The horse, Curtis, was smart and so well behaved, as well as handsome! We were in Charleston with our Yacht Club from Virginia, and our group filled the carriage. Curtis had no problem in taking us all on a great trip! Michael was a terrific guide, and pointed out so many interesting sites as well as the history behind them. We were sad when the hour was up!
