Charleston Women and Wine Tour

Przegląd
The Women and Wine is a combined history and bar tour that will include two bar stops and historic sites in between. Designed by two locals Gia and Capt. Bryan the focus of this experience is on women who changed the scene politically, socially, and economically in this city of firsts. Feel free to purchase a glass of wine/beer/ or cocktail in a wine bar started by female entrepreneurs and be introduced to women who were active in Prohibition era Charleston. From there guests will explore the historic district and sites associated with influential women in awe inspiring tales of adversity and strength. Guests will finish the tour in a second bar establishment. This tour is designed with a focus on historic women of Charleston but promises to be an adventure for guests of all backgrounds and the first of its kind being offered in Charleston.
*** To keep our price point low, Drinks are Not Included in the tour price but can be purchased from our partner establishments.

Gia is a great guide. Learned many fun facts about the women of Charleston. Great tour paired with wine.

My friend and I loved this tour. We were glad to learn about women in Charleston and their herstory. On this tour you'll get to hear stories that you won't hear on any other tour! Our guide was interactive and knowledgeable. I didn't entirely read the description before buying so don't make my mistake: this tour isn't about wine and the alcohol isn't included (you can buy whatever drink you want-alcoholic or not- from the two stops that offer drinks)... BUT it is a great tour no matter what your choice of beverage!
