Your tour guide is licensed by New York City's Department of Consumer Affairs as a tour guide and is a member of the International Association of Art Critics (AICA USA).
Some galleries have stairs. Please let us know in advance if you need to avoid stairs so we can make sure the itinerary is accessible.
Travelers should be able to stand and walk for two hours. Seating is usually not available.

On this 2-hour tour, you’ll visit approximately seven of the most important contemporary art gallery shows of the moment, seeing and discussing artwork in variety of media. Exhibitions change every five to six weeks, so there is always something new to see. Your itinerary will include a range of mega-galleries and smaller space showing artwork by nationally and internationally acclaimed artists.

We had an incredible experience exploring Chelsea's contemporary art galleries with Merrily as our guide. As a mix of out-of-towners and NYC locals from our office, we were all equally enthralled. Merrily expertly navigated us through eight diverse exhibitions. Her commentary was insightful and engaging. The pace of the tour was perfect for our group and the variety of media and styles we saw was remarkable. It was an excellent tour. Merrily Kerr was very knowledgeable she chose very interesting galleries. This was a diverse representation of contemporary art. Strongly recommend.

This was the kind of experience we had hoped for. Our guide Merrily was knowledgeable experienced and insightful. She provided essential background on the lives and work of the artists we viewed. We highly recommend her tour and will go again on our next trip to NYC.
