Chena Hot Springs

We will head out of Fairbanks around 530 to the wonderful chena hotsprings. There we will take a guided tour of the Ice Museum and Ice bar, go for a soak in the springs, then on our return trip to Fairbanks we will take our time making stops to catch the Aurora in the Night Sky. Aurora portraits will be taken free of charge.

Nate's hot springs and northern lights tour totally exceeded all my expectations! The entire experience was thoughtfully planned from start to finish. Nate picked me up right on time and shared fun stories and facts about Alaska during the drive to the hot springs. The dinner at the resort restaurant was delicious and exploring the ice museum was next-level (definitely try their appletini, you get to keep the ice glass!). The hot springs were super relaxing too, but the highlight was definitely the aurora viewing afterward. It was a cloudy night but Nate found a beautiful spot in the woods with a big gap in the clouds. The northern lights started as a faint green glow and then gradually intensified into bright green ribbons that swirled across the entire sky. It was a truly amazing experience that I'll never forget! Nate was kind enough to deal with all my photo requests so I have tons of great pics on my phone, and he used his professional camera to take awesome photos of the northern lights for me! Throughout the night, Nate was knowledgeable, fun, and attentive - and probably the best tour guide I've met. If you're visiting Fairbanks and want to experience the northern lights with someone who truly cares about giving you the best experience possible, look no further. This tour was the highlight of my Alaska trip!

What an awesome trip with Nate to Chena Hotsprings. Everything was great and we enjoyed it. We saw the Northern Lights thanks to Nate. I highly recommend booking with Nate it was a great evening.
