When you arrive at the Chicago Lincoln Park indoor skydiving location, get started by putting on your provided gear and going through a specialized training session from a flight instructor.

Learn how to safely float in a 1,400-horsepower vertical wind tunnel that generates a wall-to-wall cushion of air, commonly used by professional skydivers. Experience the thrill of skydiving without having to hurl yourself from an airplane, and no experience is necessary.

Once inside the enclosed space of the flight chamber, a tunnel operator slowly increases the wind speed until you and your instructor are airborne. Feel your adrenaline pumping as you 'free fall' at wind speeds reaching 180 mph (290 kph). The stable wind flow keeps you from falling off the column of air, and your instructor is on hand at all times to guide you. The first-time flyer experience takes about 75min. Each session includes up to 12 people, but fly one-on-one with your instructor in the wind tunnel twice for 60 seconds.

If you have previous neck, back, heart, injuries or shoulder dislocations, are pregnant or wearing a hard cast - you will not be able to fly.
In order to provide a safe experience for its customers and instructors, iFLY may not be able to accommodate flyers who weigh between 260-300 lbs and will not be able to accommodate flyers whose weight exceeds 300 lbs. Upon check in for flight reservations, additional evaluation by local staff will be required to determine if flyers between 260-300 lbs can be accommodated and whether additional restrictions may apply.

Children under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their waiver
It is recommended that you wear well-fitting, lace-up sneakers or running shoes and comfortable clothes
If you need to reschedule after your reservation is made please call the location directly. Modifications to reservation dates and times cannot be done any other way.

OMG- This experience was SO MUCH FUN. We could not stop smiling. My 15 year old son and I went together and had a total blast. The instructor gives the group a quick tutorial, suits you up, and then in you go! He stayed in the tube with each person adjusting their bodies so they could fly, while another instructor is outside the tube physically showing you what to adjust. We had 2 flights each and our only regret was that we did not purchase more. We had so much fun, we asked if we could buy more right then and there, but they already had fully booked groups through the end of the day. They offer discounts for future flights, but we weren't staying that long and we don't live near any of their other locations. They also give you a certificate when you leave stating what you accomplished. In our case, we were able to learn to stay up without assistance, turn left and turn right. I can't wait to do this again.
