We went on this tour yesterday and it was fantastic!! I've been to NYC many times and been on several different tours, this one was very informative about the history and food in Little Italy and Chinatown. Plenty to eat, perfect amount of walking and very well organized. I highly recommend this tour to all new comers so you get familiar with this area of NYC.

We loved our food tour of Little Italy and Chinatown. The foods stops were great! The info on each stop and the history presented was excellent. This tour is a great way to see both sections of NY. Would highly recommend their tour!!

My husband and I did this tour today, March 6th with Liz. It was a terrific experience! Liz is a native NYC'er who is passionate about food, people and history- the ideal combination for a food tour leader :)! We are local NYC'ers and would recommend this tour for both locals as well as visitors. We met in the Little Italy area and visited approx 4 places in Little Italy sampling everything from sweet dishes to pasta to cheese to meat. From there, we traversed Chinatown learning about the history of the communities in both locations and the cultural experiences that influenced the food. In Chinatown, we enjoyed some dim sum in a very historic restaurant (and saw Mikhail Baryshnikov which was not part of the tour :) but a very enjoyable NY moment especially for those of us who were fans of ballet). After dim sum we moved on and learned more about the history of the Chinese locals as well as the significance of some of the buildings in Chinatown. We ended our tour with another Chinese specialty as well as a sweet treat! I purposefully did not write the specifics of what we ate so as to keep it a surprise for those who go on the tour as well as to accommodate possible changes in the food itineraries. Book this tour without hesitation! Just be sure to bring an empty tummy, an open mind and a fresh pair of eyes to the experience. You will be richly rewarded mentally as well as gastronomically.
