There are two Chinatowns, one that you see from a van or bus, and the one that can only be experienced on foot in the back alleys, food markets, and local restaurants.

One Chinatown, the one from the bus, is interesting. Our Chinatown will surprise you with new adventures around every corner. In our Chinatown, artisans form Fortune Cookies by hand. In our Chinatown, artisans practice their craft in small alleys using techniques handed down for thousands of years. And in our Chinatown, the authentic cuisine will enliven your senses with new flavors, smells, and aromas.

We'll explore exotic and unique Asian produce, herbs, and teas from the very people who know them best. We'll uncover their hidden secrets only intrepid locals know. And you'll be astonished by the new finds in secret alcoves.

We'll spend about three hours eating everything from Dim Sum, fortune cookies, teas, and more.

Great tour with so many treats to eat. For some reason this tour was canceled and we were put into the tour of Chinatown and North Beach . Great experience. I loved the different foods provided. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the areas covered. Highly recommend.

The Chinatown Culinary Walking Tour was a great way to see Chinatown, and I enjoyed the food. Our guide, Isabella, was wonderful - very knowledgeable, kind and accomodating. I plan to return to at least one of the restaurants, and the tea demonstration was fantastic, and the tea delicious. The other members of the tour group were very nice too. A really nice way to spend the morning.

Isabella is a fantastic tour guide with lots of fun stories and information. The food was stellar, and portioned just right so you don't get overfull too quickly (more than enough for lunch). Highly recommend the morning tour, as the streets were not as crowded and there weren't any lines anywhere :) I feel much luckier afterwards too 😁
