Clear Creek Canyon is unique in the quantity and quality of its rapids. It has more rapids than nearly any other commercially run stretch of whitewater in the nation. It is also free-flowing, meaning that the water levels change throughout the season, offering a variety of experiences. In addition to world-class rafting, it is also the home of the 1859 Gold Rush. Gold is still found in the creek by intrepid miners using pans and dredges. Guests will pass many sites of historical significance related to the Gold Rush while rafting on Clear Creek. Clear Creek is also conveniently located nearby Denver and other surrounding resorts, making it the perfect day-trip excursion.

This was a great trip for me and my teenage girls! Our guide Kennedy was so much fun and patient as our crew figured out the strokes : ) Would definitely come back. I recommend renting their booties in early spring/summer. Water was 40 degrees and our water shoes could only do so much.

Our boat guide was Aaron and he did a great job, colorful stories about the creeks gold mining history. All around great experience.

Took my 30 year olds on their first river rafting adventure now they are hooked. We had such a fun experience and our guide Natalie was very experience and made the adventure that much more fun!! The whole team at downstream adventures were professional, helpful and had our safety as a priority!! I may add they also had they gave us many laughs! We will be back soon.
