Clear Creek Canyon is unique in the quantity and quality of its rapids. It has more rapids than nearly any other commercially run stretch of whitewater in the nation. It is also free-flowing, meaning that the water levels change throughout the season, offering a variety of experiences. In addition to world-class rafting, it is also the home of the 1859 Gold Rush. Gold is still found in the creek by intrepid miners using pans and dredges. Guests will pass many sites of historical significance related to the Gold Rush while rafting on Clear Creek. Clear Creek is also conveniently located nearby Denver and other surrounding resorts, making it the perfect day-trip excursion.

I accidentally booked our trip the wrong week, showed up thinking it was our trip day and wasn’t. They accommodated us and still let us raft! It was an excellent trip! Loved our guide Kevin. All of the staff were super nice. It’s a smaller company so much more personal experience than some of the larger outfits! Would highly recommend!

We had a great experience rafting the intermediate clear creek rafting trip. They provided wetsuit, PFD (personal floatation device) bib jacket, and for a $5 fee, booties. We had skilled guides who expertly guided us through the rapids. The photos were great and we had a fantastic experience. I had never be rafting before, and I had no problem. You’ll want to be a reasonably athletic person, who is able to paddle, climb in and out of the raft and help carry the raft. If you don’t like cold water at all. this adventure is not for you. But if you love a refreshing splash it’s stunningly beautiful and a super fun adventure where you work together.
