Keep your eyes peeled as we explore the heart of this mangrove swamp to the most incredible views of Tampa Bay + Anna Maria Island while we explore the sand bar! Be on the look out for wildlife like fish, turtles, various bird species, spotted eagle rays + even the occasional dolphin + manatee! We love sharing the water with wildlife but cannot guarantee sightings. Don’t be afraid to ask your guides any questions along the way! They love sharing fun facts about all of the wildlife we see, the ecosystems we explore + the history of the area which makes it a truly unique place to visit in Florida! Our guides are locals + naturalists who can't wait to show you the beauty of wild Florida! This trip was not bad, but just a bit boring. Our guide, while nice, did not proactively share information, or points of interest. So we gathered some info by asking questions but otherwise this was less of a “tour” and more of an opportunity to paddle kayaks in the mangroves. We had hoped to see more wildlife and a manatee. So, the trip, was simply pleasant but not engaging or memorable.

We understand your disappointment in not encountering as much wildlife as anticipated, including the elusive manatee. My friend and I went on a tour with Taylor and we cannot recommend her enough! All though the time of year didn’t allow us to see much wildlife, we learned so much and saw so many different species of birds. Taylor is extremely knowledgeable and kind, she made our experience very enjoyable!
