This is my second time with get up and go kayaking. My plan was to do all of these tours around Florida but I'm not sure I will do another again, as the clarity of the water wasn't good. Let me start with our tour guide was fantastic, pleasant, friendly, really sweet. I believe it was Max. The weather was not on our side (as it wasn't on my side the first time I did this at another location). The tide was high, the wind was super strong and the water was dark. It was not clear, and we didn't "see" any sea life.. Again, this was no fault to Max or the company. I understand they can't predict the weather! We ended up leaving an hour early because we were bored. (again no ones fault). We looked at it as we got in some exercise and the return back to the dock, was easy as the current pushed us along. :) There was see life sightings, Max pointed out three manatees and a sea turtle and even though the manatee was under our boat , we could not see it due to the darkness of the water. I was so disappointed. My recommendation for changes: I think due to the water clarity winds, etc. It would have been great if we had the option to reschedule for another day due to the clarity of the water and the strong wind. I think you kinda know when storms are coming through and when perhaps it won't be a pleasant day and give us the chance to continue or to reschedule. I did ask Max if it's better to sign up for these kayak tours in the summer, what time of year are your chances high to have clear, blue water where you can see the sea life, as I follow them on IG and I know these days happen! lol.. She said Summer is a good time. I think If I did decide to do this again, I would email or call and ask what day is recommended for the best water color and perhaps I would stick to summer time. Overall I do love these tours and I was so hopeful it was going to be a nice morning. I would recommend Clear Kayak Tour in Jupiter! I would! But I would just know going i that you the day you go, the water might be too dark to see anything. If that doesn't mater, then great! I also want to say Karen is very friendly and helpful. I had booked for 7 people but my two sons couldn't go, and she refunded me their tickets around 46 hours before the trip. She was very helpful. My in-laws did not come and I had to eat the cost of their tickets but at no fault of hers, they weren't feeling well and in this climate we thought it best they stay home. I don't think they would have enjoyed it either as it would have been hard for them to paddle as they are older and the wind was strong, it was hard for me to paddle and I'm pretty fit. I would recommend this for sure on a nice, lovely day! Thanks!

Thanks so much for your very detailed review. We can certainly understand your thoughts on water clarity and wind. Recent rains, tides and heavy winds all play a part in water conditions and are often unpredictable and unknown until the day of the tour. As much as we want perfect conditions for your guests, Mother Nature always has the upper hand. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your time with Max and got to see 3 manatees which is a real treat no matter the conditions. We went on the am glass bottom kayak tour and it was fabulous. The water is beautiful with just amazing views, I especially noticed them on the way back to shore. Zach was our guide and he was phenomenal the entire time. He was kind, patient, and worked really hard keeping us all "in line". He took and gave us some impressive and wildly vivid high quality photos that we will cherish for forever. We saw a pair of manatees and got to hang out with them for a while. Saw glimpses of a few turtles, which was really neat, I never realized how fast they were. It was a great day. Highly recommend.

My wife and I went on a clear kayak tour for our honeymoon! The weather was beautiful except for a little wind early on, and our guide, Max, did an amazing job showing us around the area and making sure everyone was safe and having a good time! She was very knowledgeable about the sea life and provided little factoids. We got to walk on the sandbars and saw lots of wildlife, including many birds (osprey and egret!!), conches, several turtles, and a ray!! We highly recommend doing this if you’re looking for a fun activity to do on a beautiful day! Our fellow patrons had a child with them who also seemed to have a blast, so great for families too! Lastly, I feel because of Max and the weather, we would have had a great time whether or not we saw any wildlife. You won’t regret checking them out!
