We have been to the area many times but this is the first time we have stopped here. We purchased admission tickets several weeks before our visit due to Covid limitations on the number of people permitted at a time. We also did the glass blowing experience. The museum was definitely a must see. Beautiful exhibits and so many things to see. The cafe was nice, we stopped for a drink. The gift shop was huge and had items in all price ranges. The two gentleman who helped my husband and I with glass blowing ornaments were so nice and friendly. Unfortunately you could not “blow” glass during the pandemic but you used a little foot pedal. They explained everything they were doing. Definitely stop here if you are in the area.

This is such an outstanding place. The gallery area has amazing exhibits of the best of glass-involved art. The interconnected galleries display the history of glassmaking in fascinating detail. You can easily spend a half day or longer & still have more to see. Social distancing is adhered to & masks universally in use so it’s a place with a safe feeling. Only (slight) criticism is that it’s sad to see so much of the glass in the gift shop of Chinese origin. Definitely worth a repeat visit!

The Museum Shops feature glass items from all around the globe, many of which are made here local to Corning. enjoyed this very much. amazing works of art glass , history of glass and demonstrations of glass blowing. Very impressed with all the safety measures in place do to Covid virus. felt completely safe and will go ack!
