We are a true Eco Tour company in the state of California using wagons and mules to tour an ancient wilderness. You will have to go to Colorado or Montana in the summer to do something like this. A truly unique western experience. Where can you take a wagon tour pulled by mules into the desert wilderness in the world? No where but here!

We are an authentic and unique desert tour that showcases the natural flora and fauna of the Palm Springs Desert ecosystem. Our live entertainment is professional and very enjoyable. We offer optional dancing lessons, games and great food. The most total inclusive and immersive desert experience in the Coachella Valley. Adventurous, educational, beautiful, unique, fun, delicious, happy, Hallmark Movie is what we have been described on our reviews! The good old days are still here at Covered Wagons!

Super 👌!such cool experience, beautiful nature, mules, vagon, music. Food was great. Really recommend!

The event was well organized and a lot of fun. We enjoyed the wagon ride, nature walk and info about the area. We had a great time learning to barn dance and were ready for the BBQ afterwards which was really good. The music was entirely singable - even the desert coyotes joined in for a chorus! I’d definitely bring friends and family to this one.

Our family of 6 adults, 2 teens, and a 9 year old all enjoyed the experience. We should have gotten there when the gates opened as there was a lady using a lasso and lots of games like horseshoes and cornhole, but we did have time for the games after the ride. The wagon was large, holding about 16 people. The tour guide gave us lots of information about the geology, history, and animal facts. On the way back we saw a couple of coyotes. The bbq was very good, lots of choices. A guitar player and singer entertained us and had us do a sort of square dance. The evening ended with toasting marshmallows.
