The tour to Tijuana is a lot of fun. You start off the day by crossing the border and meeting with the guide, ours was the wonderful Carlos. He’s very knowledgeable about the place and you get to go through markets and see spices that are only found in Tijuana. One of the highlights of the day was the first tequila tasting. It was probably better than we expected especially the creamier tequilas. You get to visit some historic places such as the church, and Caesars restaurant. Fun fact, the Caesar salad was actually created in Tijuana. There are Art alleyways and vendors selling their wares. I ended up getting a couple of pairs of earrings. I also got Carlos to stop by the doughnut vendor, where she puts a creamy custard into the deep fried doughnut - so glorious ! Please note that when you do this tour there’s a lot of walking so if you have any ailments or are unable to walk for the day, I wouldn’t recommend this tour for you. Perhaps do the beer tasting And brewery tour. In all we had a lovely day and Carlos is great. Would recommend it. Cheers from Lisa and Rob - Melbourne Australia.
