Getting so close to these beautiful creatures in their environment. Amazing. Our guides Ryan and Kelly were fun and made sure we all enjoyed ourselves.

We lucked out! We drove up to the area to see the Three Sisters Springs as our friends had been there the previous week and the manatee were still in the area. Unfortunately, one week and there were zero manatee spotted. We happened upon River Ventures, went in and got the last two seats on their last venture for the day. All the employees there were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They supply the wetsuits and snorkel gear (all clean and in very good condition). We took a short bus ride to the pontoon boat and found some friendly manatee pretty quickly. The boat captain was great, the tour guide was excellent. Follow their instructions they know what they are the doing. An absolutely wonderful adventure that we will be doing again a littler earlier in the season next year.

We went on the trip in the spring which is not the main season, however, it didn‘t take us long to find a spot where we could swim with 6 manatees. We were able to float right next to those gentle giants which was fascinating. The trip was amazing, everybody who is close to Crystal Springs should find some spare time to do this. Our tour guide Marissa and our captain Irish Dave did a great job entertaining but also teaching us a lot of things about Manatees. It was a little windy a chilly on the boat that day but they took good care of us and offered coffee and hot chocolate. Highly recommend!
