17 miles, split into two unique biking experiences. Maui Bombers offers the premier biking experience on Maui. Voted #1 bike tour company for 2019-2024. The tour begins at 8 am. and lasts 4.5 hours. We offer the smallest group size, best equipment, longest bike ride and are the only bike tour company that uses biking helmets. All the other companies use full face motorcycle helmets. Added bonus, our start time guarantees the least amount of traffic to deal with and no other bike companies to deal with on the road!

Matt with Maui Bombers has put together the best bike tour in Maui. We took our tour back in April. I called ahead of time with a couple questions and Matt answered the phone and was thorough in making sure we had all of the information we needed. Booking online was very easy. The day before the tour Matt called and confirmed our pickup time. He even picked us up directly from our hotel even though it was not one of the pickup locations shown on his website. The van was stocked with plenty of snacks and drinks for us to enjoy. Matt and Sean were great to talk to and we really enjoyed Sean's little dog, Cici, too! Even better, we were the only two people on the tour that day. Free upgrade to private tour! Even if we weren't the only two, Matt only books up to 6 people on his tour. This allows the group to go faster and stay together easier. Much better than the other tour companies! Matt's bikes are also high quality road bikes - not cruisers like the other tours as well. The tour we booked was the Cycle to the Sea tour. It starts at about 6,500' on Mt. Haleakala. We drove up to the top in the van and then Matt and Sean unloaded the bikes for us. (Be sure to bring a light jacket or sweater; it's cold in the AM). We helmeted up and they made sure the bikes were adjusted to our liking and headed down hill. Matt made sure Sean was behind us at all times with the van to keep us safe. We got to go just about as fast as we wanted to. We stopped occasionally to let other cars pass and to stop for photos. We were there during the spring when the Jacaranda trees had beautiful blooms - great photo op. Once at the bottom of the mountain, we stopped in a small town. We got to shop around a bit and then Matt treated us to a great sandwich lunch at a local cafe. From there we biked the rest of the way down to the ocean! We got to enjoy the great beach and blue water before packing up and heading back to our hotel. Matt also hooked us up with some great swag! Overall, I could't recommend this tour more. It was lots of fun, great views, and Matt was a great guide. Don't hesitate; book it!

Man, Kevin!!! Phenomenal review, wow! Thank you so much for pointing out what makes us so unique and awesome. You and Sarah were a complete blast, and hope to ride with you again. We just added a Bike and Brews Cruise, in case you want to try something different next time.
