A great way to experience Charlston. We were picked up at our hotel 7am. Wendy the driver was very friendly. A wonderful way to see such a unique city. We chose the horse carriage ride and the tour guide was fantastic. Definitely would recommend this vs the small bus tour of the city. You can choose and pay a little extra for the carriage ride. The Market is nice! Boone Hall Plantation was a great experience . Spent the better part of the day there and felt immersed in rich history. ( obviously some parts were very emotional). Just to be there and enjoy the grounds and gardens were lovely! The tour was about 12 hours from pick up to drop off. Only reason for not giving 5 star was due to bus. Some seats were not usable in the back however due to two very selfish woman, and hogging 4 seats between them this forced guests to sit beside soiled seats that were initially roped off. This has nothing to do with the tour but felt maybe it could have been addressed to share seats with your travel partner. Overall an enjoyable day and would love to visit again! Kudos for Wendy the driver and always helping guests with mobility issues. Very lovely lady!

Not worth it. The city is nice, but the bus was old and uncomfortable. The carriage ride included a lot of history of the city which was interesting, but I’m short and has an inside seat so I could barely see anything. Was The Market was disappointing. It was entirely commercial vendors with outrageous prices. Fort Sumpter was great. If you like junk food the lunch was ok. Our driver was very pleasant. The ride home took forever because of all the hotel stops. We got back over 1 1/2 hours late.

We wanted to include a day trip to Charleston during our recent vacation to Myrtle Beach. The bus tour was the perfect way to do it. They picked us up and dropped us off at our resort. It was a good time for us all.
