Stunning views, interesting and enjoyable pilot. We also cruised the coast while there - but this was the highlight of our trip!!!

I could not recommend taking a K2 flying tour more. It was the highlight of our trip to Alaska and one of the most unforgettable experiences I've ever had. K2 watched the weather carefully and made sure we went up at a time when the viewing would be good. We really appreciated their diligence about the weather to ensure a good viewing experience. Given the potentially flexible nature of the flight time, I would recommend planning only activities that can be rescheduled on the same day as your flight tour. We just did a local hike that day, so it was easy to flop our schedules to accommodate the flight time change. We also ended up on a better tour without paying extra since our rescheduled time was to go with others who had booked a longer tour. The plane itself was comfortable and offered great views from every seat. Our pilot made the experience extra special by sharing information about everything we were seeing as well as happily answering any questions we had. He was also diligent about making sure everyone on both sides of the plane got to enjoy views of the best sights. The one complaint I would have is that we were confused about being picked up for our flight. When we signed up, the form asked for a pick-up location and gave us a pickup time, but we were actually expected to get there ourselves. Getting there wasn't an issue, but the confusion about what we were supposed to do was frustrating. They also didn't call us when they knew our flight would be rescheduled. They were just going to wait for us to check in at the location to tell us. Luckily, our lodging owner called over there for some other customers and found out that they wouldn't be flying until the afternoon and let us know. We then called and we able to reschedule and clarify the pickup situation. This was frustrating at the time, but the experience was so wonderful, I am not docking them any rating points. I would just suggest that you call before you head there to check on the weather and pickup situation.

This was an absolutely amazing experience. All stages were handled professionally with a focus on safety- from our pre arranged hotel pick up through the preflight instructions to the landing on the Pika glacier and return to the airstrip. I would highly recommend this Tour. We were so fortunate to have two weeks of awesome weather in Alaska and this evening tour was no exception! Thank You K-2 Aviation for an experience I will remember for the rest of my life!
