Fly among jagged mountaintops and over tumbling glaciers on a stunning 200-mile flight to get within ½ mile and circle Denali to see every spectacular corner (weather permitting).

Special Note(s): This tour is headset equipped, fully narrated and all seats are window seats on twin engine aircraft. Precise flight routes are dictated by current weather conditions. Anticipated flight routes will be discussed with passengers during a pre-flight briefing. Flight time is 60 - 70 minutes.

Denali (Mt. McKinley) is 80 miles away from our airstrip. Weather conditions at the Mountain will often be different from those in our area. Please feel free to call for the current pilot’s reports but know that we do not make decisions based on weather until about an hour before flight time. We will always send a driver to pick-up locations with the most up-to date information at the allotted pick-up times. Exact route and specific sights are weather dependent but due to our airstrip's unique location, we are able to access either side of the Alaska Range when others cannot. We have the highest success rate of showing Denali to our guests of any tour option, anywhere.

If you are visiting Denali National Park, and you have about $400.00 extra to spend, consider the Denali Air Tour. There is no way to describe the thrill and the awesome view of Denali from the "inside". View the starting point of all the glaciers, the vast views down the slopes of this beautiful range, fly around the peak within what seems like meters from the peak, and watch for climbers. Truly "awe-some". ( I am sure it is where Superman lives.) The plane is very comfortable, and headphones with music are supplied to keep you calm if you are wary of flying, and our pilot was extremely professional and informative.

WOW! My second flight-seeing adventure in 3 days and was a completely and equally beeathtaking experience. My first look at Denali was from miles away. Pilot Connie got us about .5 miles away at about 11,000 feet soaring altitude. If you want to truly experience Denali and the incredible difference in Eco systems, while seeing mountain peaks, glaciers and the entire circumference of The Mountain, there's no better way than Denali Air's Peak Experinece. On another note, Denali Air is incredible professional and ranks superior in customer service. We called a different company early this morning who were fogged in and couldn't recommend another company who flew from near Denali National Park. We did a little researching and found Denali Air, who were so accommodating and wonderful - from phone call to landing and good-bye's. (oh and while they weigh you - it's annonomos as the scale reading is behind the counter so no one else can see- the little thins.) For a second time flight-seeing adventurer, this experience was incredible, as as my friend said - "life changing, I thought I could just reach out and touch The Mountain" so worth the money. Each of my to flight-seeing adventures have been incredibly different and beyond words. Book it now - don't wait!

While the Denali Wilderness Tour on the ground is very good, you haven't seen Denali until you see it from the air! The sheer scope and breathtaking sights of the Alaska Range in all its pristine beauty...the snow covered peaks, the glaciers, multi-colored mountains and river valleys...and with luck--as I had--see the awe inspiring sight of the peaks of Mt McKinley thrusting through a carpet of clouds. Denali Air's 6 seater Piper Navajo's were comfortable and each person had a big window ideal for photography. Pilots are very experienced and the narration and their personal comments were excellent as were the friendly people behind the desk and the driver who picked us up at our lodge. The flight was smooth and the pilot turned and banked so that both sides had great views. A trip to remember and well worth the fare !!!
