Introducing Squid! The quietest experience you will have on a boat while watching dolphins.
We worked with David Walworth, an MIT educated Naval Architect and Principal Engineer known for his high-efficiency catamaran designs, to build the perfect boat for our trips from scratch.

Our amazing crew are closely trained by our Honest Eco Biologists. Crew training starts on land with research and mission alignment before moving onto the water where we hone our seamanship skills and work to become as effective as possible at delivering on our Purpose.

Kudos to the tour guide, Bryan. He is a marine biologist very knowledgeable about marine animals. He has a great personality and you can tell he loves dolphins. We did not see dolphins. We decided not to snorkel for several reasons. The recent heavy rain and wind affected the reefs and so the tour took us to an area with lots of sponge varieties and fish. If you have physical limitations (60+ y/o) please know it is difficult to get off and on the boat for snorkeling in shallow watering. You can’t stand on the bottom and so the suggestion is to fall forward into the water. At least one person inhaled water in their snorkel using this method. There is one platform step off the boat around 24-30” below the boat deck. Getting down is hard; getting back up is very difficult as there are no steps or handrails. The crew assured us they would help and had 100% success in getting people off and on deck but their help was limited to words of encouragement. Several people struggled. A disturbing thing for us is the staff has you remove your shoes when boarding the boat. We learned the reason is to eliminate the risk of tripping over shoes. But keep in mind the deck gets wet and the risk of foot fungus then becomes high. It may not bother most people but it bothered us. We aren’t sure why the shoes couldn’t be gathered in a bin when and as people remove them to snorkel. All in all, it is expensive for what you get. We were interested in a boat ride to see dolphins (and not snorkeling). I later read morning tours are more successful. However, the crew was informative and entertaining so with reasonable expectations of yourself and the circumstances, see for yourself.

We had an amazing time! It was cool and windy, but it made no difference. The dolphins put on a show for us. Bryan and Rachel were personable and knowledgeable, they were clearly experienced! They provided everything we needed and made sure we were comfortable and satisfied. We will be back for sure!

Hey there, love hearing that you had such an amazing boat tour with us! A little wind and cool weather never stand a chance when the dolphins decide to put on a show! Bryan and Rachel are total pros they know how to make sure everyone is comfortable while sharing their passion and knowledge. Glad they had everything you needed to make the trip great! We had a great time heading out with Matt and Heather on a 4 hr tour, watching dolphins and snorkeling on the reef. The boat was comfortable, the crew was knowledgeable and friendly, and everyone seemed to have a great time, both young and old.
