The Lake View Tour is a wonderful way to get your feet wet while experiencing a helicopter flight in the Smokies. Douglas Lake covers more than 28,000 acres across three counties and has over 500 miles of shoreline. This flight will carry you over the French Broad River toward Douglas Dam and up to the edge of Mountain Cove Marina. On clear days there are beautiful panoramic views of the Great Smoky Mountains in the distance.

Our Lake View flight will extend you past the French Broad River and take you out to Douglas Lake. Douglas Lake is a 33,000 acre man-made lake with over 450 miles of shoreline. This flight will get you up to 1500 feet in altitude, allowing you to get a superb view of the Great Smoky Mountains towards the South. Along the route you will see areas of farmland and quilt-like patterns of pastures. As you get closer to Douglas Lake you will fly next to Douglas Dam. On most days you are able to see the Plateau off to the Northwest that divides Tennessee and Kentucky. Includes River Ride points of interest you may see along the way: English Mountain, Boat / Jet Ski Rental Areas, Fishing / Camping and Kyker Korn Maze which is (seasonal).

We have flown many helicopter tours, but, this experience was easily the best. The pilot, Tyler and the boarding attendant in particular, Taylor, paid attention to every aspect of this trip. They even put our six-year-old grandson in the front, (he thought he was a co-pilot) and it was first class from start to finish, just brilliant, thanks, guys. John, Jine and co-pilot, Daniel.

It was very nice. It was some of our first time and Scott was great and made it fun. We lost a son to an accident in Dec and this was the closest to heaven we could get.

Excellent customer service, lots of things to do while you wait, food and lemonade/ice cream truck, options for different flights, great selection of photos to choose from. Shout out to Pilot Tyler and our guide Ben! Would definitely come back.
