I saw Meg's walking tour on Tripadvisor.com and was interested right away. However, her scheduled tour times didn't work for our small family. Reluctantly, I sent her an email asking for a private tour. Communication was very friendly and Meg was very accommodating. Do not be shy to ask for a private tour as her small group rates are very fairly priced. We truly enjoyed her tour. It is very clear that Meg loves what she does. There was a good amount of information, and she kept it interesting. Our history loving teen daughter was very engaged. We covered both downtown Bath, and old homes that housed prominent ship builders and their families. It was definitely a morning well spent. At the end of the tour she gave us great tips for eateries and other local businesses.

I am glad I went on this tour with Meg, who is thoughtful, engaging, and knowledgeable. Not only did I learn many interesting facts, I also heard stories about the people who lived and worked in this city long ago. It made me realize how connected we are to the past and how Bath has stayed remarkably unchanged through the years. and is indeed a special place. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is curious about the rich history of this little “City of Ships”.
