Didn't get to go as they canceled a couple days prior. No reason given and it was the only day we could have attended. Very upsetting when I reserved everything in advance for our short trip.

Thank you for your interest in Local Roots Food Tours. We did and continue to apologize for the inconvenience of a cancelled tour. We do believe your 1-star review and "Not dependable" headline are inappropriate at this time. For the record, we emailed you 5-days before the tour to let you know that there was a potential problem with your tour. We emailed again 2-days before the tour and then finally sent a text at the same time. Our policy clearly states that when we do not meet the threshold for number of guests for a tour to go, we must cancel the tour. We do our very best to give our guests a heads-up when there is potential cancellation (the email sent 5 days out) and that we would make the final call as the date came closer (leaving the tour open for additional guests and a go). We can appreciate that you were upset and, again, apologize for the inconvenience. We will continue to pride ourselves on the way we communicate with our guests prior to, during, and after a tour. Thank you again for your interest in Local Roots Food Tours. We hope we have the opportunity to meet you on one of our tours in the future.

Dawnie was an amazing tour guide! The food choices were excellent. Delicious and flavorful! Highly recommend. We will be doing another tour in the future!

Dawnie did an excellent job very detailed on mid town history and art as well as the food stops ! She explained each artist that painted the murals and history of each restaurant
